You’ll be responsible for delivering Enterprise Perimeter Security infrastructure solutions based on next generation security technologies. Your focus will be on designing and building our API service layer as we expand the Apigee platform offering to support multiple products.

You’ll maintain the Apigee platform and extending its capability while providing ways to automate onboarding procedures and processes.

We need someone with a strong security background, experience in completing detailed assignments with high level of complexity.

You’ll have expert level experience in Apigee Edge platform preferably with an on-premise installation. Additionally, we need someone with significant experience in DevOps with CI/CD methodologies and deploying API services in Apigee. Each day will be challenging and busy as you define engineering and operational standards and ensures programs are in place to implement, quantify, measure, and report on these standards.

Experience in Implementing API management using Apigee to include API proxies, mashups, rate limit Proficiency in implementing security and identity protocols such as OpenID, TLS, OAuth, SAML, SSO, PKI (encryption and key management)

Knowledge of Web APIs, REST, XML, JSON, SOA/Web services, Internet/network security standards (WS Security, OAUTH, OpenID Connect, JWT, etc)

Experienced in various software design methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, XP, TDD.

Experience with Continuous Integration such as CircleCI, Jenkins or similar, Docker etc

Experience with DevOps suite of tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and GIT/Stash Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations Ability to handle extremely confidential information in a professional manner. Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with a high level of confidence. Experience designing and implementing distributed perimeter security systems.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED Extensive experience in developing solutions with Apigee and providing Apigee Edge Platform diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Minimum of 6 years of software development experience on various Java/J2EE related technologies/ Javascript frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, Node.js building on-premise and cloud native software applications.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in system analysis and design, implementation and testing of technology to create highly scalable and distributed applications.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in building Micro-services, SOA, Web Frameworks. Excellent knowledge of SOA design and implementation and system integration using SOA.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in API architecture and development using Apigee or similar products.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in system analysis and design, implementation and testing of technology to create highly scalable and distributed applications.

Preferred Skills for Consideration: Exposure to Web services security
