Director, Information Technology Infrastructure & Operations
Length: Full Time
Salary: 165K-185K + bonus
THE POSITION
The Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations role is responsible for establishing and implementing efficient organization, standards and operational metrics for the company’s computers, network, servers, databases, and operational technology security environments. The Director will design, develop, and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate technology and services. The Director is responsible to implement and maintain a multi-resource (internal/external staffing) and business efficient IT infrastructure engineering and operations program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for IT enterprise infrastructure and service resiliency, business continuity and recovery, data retention and protection
• Works across organizational lines and stakeholders to ensure inter-dependent and integrated components for IT services are accounted for whether owned/operated internally, by vendors, external entities, or partners
• Implements and maintains a multi-resource (internal/external staffing) and business efficient IT infrastructure engineering and operations program
• Develop, recruit, and manage a strong and highly effective team
• Ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives
• Provide service and process expertise, direction, and assistance to vendors, partners, and internal teams
• Develop, document, and communicate plans for supporting and investing in Infrastructure platforms, systems, and tools, including analysis of cost-benefit and reduction opportunities
• Partner in developing required policies and procedures, including those for personal computers, security, network, server, storage, and other hardware platforms considering architecture, standards, purchasing, and service provision
• Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services
• Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the network, compute and storage infrastructure, and IT systems
• Works collaboratively with peer IT and cross-organization leaders on road maps and long-term technology plans
• Accountable for patching/updates and vulnerability remediation within scope
• Accountable for engineering and operations of Cybersecurity platform, incident response, incident remediation, and forensics
THE DETAILS
· Location: Denver, CO
· Travel: Domestic travel required up to 20%
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must pass comprehensive background screening.
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years leading IT infrastructure and operations teams
• 5+ years leading enterprise architecture for infrastructure, platforms, and applications in complex, multi-stakeholder, shared service environments.
• 5+ years planning, managing and responsibility for year over year performance of an IT infrastructure and operations budget
• Advanced experience incorporating Cyber Security policies and requirements
• Advanced experience leading technical teams through incidents and resolutions
• Broad technical knowledge in personal computers, servers, storage, database, and network; including Cloud, virtualization, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Active Directory, and network technologies
• Maturity and leadership experience to direct a cross functional team
