Job Description:

The Javascript Engineer will be working on one of our development teams in our Denver office. They will be working in an extremely collaborative and fast-paced environment using agile development methodologies. They will be responsible for implementing the strategic and technical vision for business initiatives using AEM and the Adobe Platform. They will seek to follow industry standards and best practices in order to implement high-quality CMS solutions. They should be comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, guiding and mentoring developers and working with business partners to deliver awesome customer experiences.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

– Develop all day, every day with a focus in Javascript, React, and DOM manipulation
– Create code within a fast paces kanban style growth team
– Work in fast paced, agile methodology
– Act as a technical mentor and coach to less experienced developers

The company’s Growth Team is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of our business initiatives using our various Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) tools, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target across all company digital properties.

You will:

– Serve as one of the technical leaders of our Adobe CMS solution (AEM)
– Implement and help implement A/B targeting scenarios
– Develop the component model that will serve both web and mobile solutions using Javascript inside of

  Adobe Experience Manager
– Work with team members in creating best-in-class web experiences through Javascript solutions
– Bring industry best practices to bear in building and optimizing company website and our other web properties
– Configure Adobe Experience Manager for on premise solutions or cloud based solutions
– Develop AEM templates and components leveraging AEM Sightly framework
– Partner with business stakeholders authors and to enable efficient website management
– Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse
– Work with our Analytics team to advance company’s data-driven capabilities

A successful Javascript Engineer has all the following:

– Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 1-3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
– Advanced Javascript experience with React and AEM experience as a bonus
– Deep understanding of HTML DOM manipulation and CSS styling techniques
– Unix/Linux/Mac OS experience
– Gitlab, Rally/Jira, Jenkins familiarity
