Job Description

A Wireless Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting other PMs for project implementation, execution, control and delivery of projects, and for ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • AnchorSupport the planning and implementation of the Wireless projects
  • Plan and schedule necessary weekly/daily or ad hoc meetings
  • Support the onboarding of resources and vendors
  • Monitor and report on progress of project deliverables and projects as required
  • Implement and manage project assignments

 

Experience:

  • 3+ years of Program Coordinator or Program Management experience – preferably in technology with Telecom, Cable, Wireless, or IT
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with IT management, software development and test teams, and infrastructure teams, and with business partners
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of program management
  • Knowledge of technical hardware program management techniques and tools
  • Knowledge of working with Vendor SOWs, RFPs, and contracts
  • Working knowledge of IT systems, Agile, and SDLC
  • Solid experience with GSuite, Visio, and MSProject
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong negotiation/facilitation skills with an ability to gain consensus
  • Ability to consult, facilitate and manage expectations with other PMs, leadership, IT teams and with customers
  • Ability to manage customer expectations throughout the program implementation and delivery process.
  • Ability to work on teams in a support role and participative capacity with many different and diverse stakeholders.
  • Formal knowledge of Program management principles, processes, and tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or related degree preferred

Responsibilities        

•              Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information

•              Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes

•              Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives

•              Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management

•              Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve

•              Help prepare budgets

•              Analyze risks and opportunities

•              Oversee project procurement management

•              Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise

•              Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants

•              Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers and share their work load

•              Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures

•              Create and maintain project documentation, plans and reports

 

Additional relevant information:   

•              Work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role

•              Knowledge and aspiration in project management, from conception to delivery

•              Good organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

•              Strong client-facing and teamwork skills

•              Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control

•              Strong working knowledge of Project management tools

 

Work environment (culture, team size etc.):

10-15 people on the team and a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability and self-initiative to learn quickly and add value by take work off of multiple PMs
