Security Solutions Architect

Location: Littleton, CO – in office

Visa Status: Any, as long as they can convert to full-time after 90 days

Length: 90-day CTH

Salary: 125K

Overview:

In this Solutions Architect role, you will support a variety of business and IT areas. This role will provide significant exposure to multiple organizations within the company and provide you the opportunity to drive technological change that will business wide impact.

 

Responsibilities:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency with security principles and technology standards that guide the design, engineering, and deployment of secure environments.
  • Collaboration across Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity on pattern definitions that help mitigate security risks within the environment.
  • Thinks and acts strategically, staying abreast of trends and advances in IT/Cybersecurity threats.
  • Active collaboration with cross-functional groups to deliver secure solutions that meet business goals
  • Stays current with vendor solutions and industry trends, and develops, maintains, and communicates the architectural strategy in partnership with IT practitioners and business units
  • Contributes to the success of key initiatives, coordinating strategies with other teams and leaders through execution.
  • Presents business updates, recommendations, strategic opportunities and assessments to leadership and senior management as needed.

 

Qualifications:

Skills, Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, related discipline, or commensurate industry experience
  • At least 8 years IT Experience / 2 years Cybersecurity Experience, demonstrating experience in the following areas: IAM, secure network protocols, SSL Certificates, egress proxies, PCI architecture, application security, domain segmentation, data protection, routing, firewall architecture, TCP/IP and automation of processes
  • Experience working in a risk-based environment including assessment, remediation/mitigation, planning and implementation
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills. including the ability to simplify key messages, present compelling stories and promote technical and personal credibility with internal and external executives, and both technical and non-technical audiences.

 

Desirable:

  • AWS experience / proficiency
  • DevSecOps / CI/CD security
