Job Title: Security Solutions Architect

Location: US-CO-Englewood

Positions – 1


Max Salary – $181,000



The Security Solutions Architect will work closely with architecture peers across all of Information Technology and Cybersecurity to ensure that projects and new initiatives are secured in accordance with audit and policy requirements. This leader will represent Information Security principles and requirements.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Articulation of consistent security principles and technology standards that guide design, engineering and deployment of secure products
  • Collaboration across Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity on pattern definitions that help mitigate security risks within the environment
  • Thinks and acts strategically, staying abreast of trends and advances in IT/Cybersecurity solutions and monitors changes in the operating environment
  • Provides thought leadership using business communications, active collaboration, and leading cross-functional groups to deliver cybersecurity goals
  • Develops external partnerships with vendors and outside entities as appropriate, and develops, maintains, and communicates the Security Architecture strategy in partnership with senior Business and leaders
  • Takes ownership of key initiatives, coordinating strategies with other members of the Cybersecurity team and other leaders to execute
  • Presents business updates, recommendations, strategic opportunities and assessments to leadership and senior management as needed



Skills, Experience and Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years IT Experience / 8 years Cybersecurity Experience, demonstrating experience in the following areas: Cloud-native architectures, AWS, VPC, Security Groups, IAM, Docker, Encryption, HTTPS, TLS Certificates, API Gateway, Lambda, Egress proxies, PCI architectures, application security, domain segmentation, authentication, data protection, and automation of processes
  • Demonstrated ability to create complex security plans
  • Experience working with compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working in a risk based environment including mitigation and planning
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, including the ability to simplify key messages, present compelling stories and promote technical and personal credibility with internal and external executives, and both technical and non-technical audiences




  • Experience with microservices architectures
