Position: UCAT/CPQ Sr. Developer

Job Location: On-Site Littleton, Colorado 80120-1813 United States

Pay Rate: flexible, 70hr

Salary Midpoint: USD $143,750.00/Year

 

What you will be doing:

You will help build the technologies that enable millions of Americans to connect and converse with information and one another. You will work in a complex, fast-paced, and highly elastic environment that provides opportunities to navigate across different teams and projects.

As a Senior Developer, you are responsible for delivery and ownership of high-quality software solutions for our everyday business opportunities while being a part of a high agile development team in a collaborative and fast-paced environment using Scrum and XP Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing clean and highly performant code leveraging test driven development
  • Coach the development team in best practices for agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint demo, retrospective
  • Lead design discussions with team members and external stakeholders
  • Learn and work with various languages and platforms as needed
  • Keep abreast of technologies and paradigms and recognize when they can benefit the business and the software team
  • Work with minimal direction and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Coach the team members on best design/coding and software delivery practices
  • Work with scrum master to handle and resolve dependencies, roadblocks and issues
  • Work with enterprise architects and create technical documentation and technical plan/backlog for achieving long term architectural objectives

Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of experience in software development using Java or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Experience working in agile software development methodology
  • Experience in delivering software solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Experience building scalable software in a service-oriented architecture
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of distributed software systems, asynchronous messaging, and SOAP/RESTful services
  • Experience using open-source frameworks such as Spring Boot, Kafka, etc
